Ken Hafner has been with Kiwi Partners since 2001 and manages approximately 10 clients and 5 staff members. He oversees the day to day accounting functions, prepares monthly/quarterly financial reports, attends Board Meetings providing CFO level advice, and ensures a smooth annual audit process. He ensures accounting systems and internal controls adhere to GAAP accounting. Ken is fluent in many accounting software packages, including QuickBooks, Peachtree, Fund EZ, MIP and MAS 500.
Prior to joining Kiwi Partners, Ken worked for two years at a life insurance company where he gained accounting experience in both STAT and GAAP accounting. He then worked for a public accounting firm auditing and preparing tax returns for companies and individuals. Ken also worked as an internal auditor for the mercantile exchange.
Ken is a seasoned accounting professional dedicated to his clients and passionate about his work in the nonprofit sector.
Ken holds a B.S. in Accounting from SUNY Plattsburgh.
