Aparna has over 12 years of accounting, auditing and financial management experience. Since joining Kiwi Partners Aparna has assisted clients with CFO level advice and played an integral role in starting new client engagements with complex foreign accounting needs, as well as writing accounting procedures for large social service agencies – her work being a requirement of Government Auditors.
Prior to joining Kiwi Partners, Aparna worked for seven years at Deloitte & Touche as Senior Manager in their Audit and Enterprise Risk Services group. Aparna led the Deloitte team at client engagements performing accounting department organizational assessment projects; system reviews; risk assessments; audits of internal controls and process re-engineering projects. She has performed process and internal control reviews; has assisted clients to streamline their accounting structure by centralizing operations, resulting in cost savings and reporting efficiencies. In performing risk assessments at large nonprofit organizations, Aparna helped develop compliance procedures to respond to the needs of federal and state funders.
Aparna is a Certified Public Accountant, a Certified Internal Auditor and has earned a B.S in Accounting from the University of Madras in India.
