Lisa has over 15 years of senior level accounting and financial experience focusing on nonprofit organizations. Since joining Kiwi Partners in 2008, Lisa has assisted a major national nonprofit with 12 chapters in reengineering various accounting functions. She streamlined their accounting structure by centralizing operations, resulting in cost savings and reporting efficiencies. Lisa also assisted in coordinating efforts between fund raising and finance, redesigned their chart of accounts to improve reporting, developed policy and procedure guides related to grant functions, and incorporated the organization’s new strategy and mission into the accounting system.
Lisa is also developing and implementing the internal Kiwi Quality Management System ©. Here, Lisa has conducted visioning sessions, developed areas for operational improvement, and is managing the project implementation.
Prior to joining Kiwi Partners, she was an independent consultant for various companies assisting in system implementations and process reengineering. Lisa spent over ten years with Ernst and Young, LLP managing their Entrepreneurial Management Consulting group. While at Ernst & Young, Lisa worked on a variety of clients, the majority of which were nonprofits. Here she performed system reviews, selections and implementation, developed policy and procedure guides for clients and assisted management in developing full financial management accounting environments. Prior to working with Ernst & Young, Lisa worked at various other public accounting firms managing their consulting divisions.
Lisa earned a B.S. in Accounting from SUNY Albany and volunteers as Treasurer of the Monmouth Council Boy Scouts of America.
